To provide technical support and assistance to Clinical Lab Scientists and/or Medical Lab Technicians. To effectively and efficiently process laboratory specimens for analysis and pre- and post-analytically. To accurately convey information regarding specimens and testing.This is not an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities, or requirements. - Set up, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment as identified in the department. (20%)
- Prepare specimens for automated analyzer. (20%)
- Assist in monitoring product quality to ensure compliance to lab standards and specifications. (10%)
- Order inventory materials to maintain supplies, such as reagent stocking, consumables management, and various other sundries. (15%)
- Isolate, identify, and prepare specimens for examination. (10%)
- Clean, maintain, and prepare supplies and work areas. (10%)
- Track missing and pending work and the logical process to locate missing/pending work. (15%)
