Responsibilities- Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment according to established test methods and parameters, including performing basic equipment maintenance.
- Prepare and enter samples for testing, perform evaluations, and assign ratings in accordance with established procedures.
- Accurately collect, record, and enter test data while maintaining quality standards and completing required checks and verifications.
- Use computer software to enter data and generate test reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work environment.
Qualifications- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a science or technical field preferred.
- 1–2 years of laboratory experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience handling basic laboratory tools and equipment, including mixing equipment, laboratory glassware, calipers, and other standard lab tools.
- Strong mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for most of the workday in a laboratory setting.
- Ability to lift parts weighing up to 20–30 pounds in and out of testing chambers.
