What You'll Do
- Safely drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to and from customer locations.
- Work alongside your team to safely move, pack, load, unload, and transport customers' belongings.
- Provide top-notch customer service and create a positive moving experience from start to finish.
- Communicate with customers throughout their move and help address questions or concerns.
- Lead and communicate with moving team members to help each move run safely and efficiently.
- Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and monitor basic truck functionality.
- Keep trucks, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and professional.
- Complete move-related paperwork and accurately collect and process customer payments.
- Follow company safety procedures, driving requirements, and moving best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Full G driver's license required.
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- At least one year of commercial driving experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to safely lead and work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including items weighing 100 lbs. or more, with assistance and proper equipment when appropriate.
- Knowledge of applicable driving and transportation requirements.
- Moving industry or TWO MEN AND A TRUCK experience is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Previous experience in commercial driving, delivery, moving, transportation, general labor, warehouse, construction, landscaping, manufacturing, or other physically active roles can be helpful.
