Land Survey Helper

Job description:

Construction, & Surveying firm looking to expand our company.  Technical knowledge and Hands on experience working and performing construction staking, topographic surveying, control surveys and boundary surveys.

Responsibilities include:

• The daily maintenance and preparation of surveying equipment and vehicle
• Stock survey fleet truck with supplies and maintain inventory
• Provide assistance to Surveyor in regard to layout and measurements
• Operate survey equipment and experience with Trimble Robotic and GPS Survey equipment
• Support overall crew activities
• Working knowledge of surveying equipment
• Read a survey grade level
• Take level notes and drawing sketches
• Perform basic calculations
• Upload/download data to/from a data collector on a regular basis

• Valid Driver's License/Clear Motor Vehicle Record
• Math and Survey Technical skills set
• Background Check
• Drug Testing
• Dependable Transportation
• Ability to lift 50 pounds & stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (weekends & unscheduled hours)

 Schedule: Monday to Friday-    Experience: AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)
