    We are currently seeking a Landscape Architect to join the HMB team 

    This position may be located in either the HMB Lexington or Louisville office

    Key Responsibilities


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership in creating compelling and environmentally-conscious designs for various projects, including parks, public spaces, and commercial properties.
    • Develop concept plans, design drawings, and presentations that effectively communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
    • Ensure designs adhere to local codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
    • Oversee all phases of projects, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other design disciplines to maintain open communication and ensure project requirements are met.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement necessary corrective measures.
    Possess a good working knowledge of civil engineering as it relates to landscape architecture

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
    • Licensed Landscape Architect in Kentucky or eligible for reciprocity of license in Kentucky.
    • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in landscape architecture, with a track record of successful project delivery.
    • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
    • In-depth knowledge of landscape design principles, sustainable practices, and horticulture.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
