Our talented staff of 650+ professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and construction solutions to our clients from our offices throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Alabama.

MSG is seeking a full-time Landscape Architect Team Leader to oversee our team in Columbus, OH. Projects could include site design for commercial and residential projects; design of parks & recreation facilities, designs for municipal facilities such as streetscapes, parking facilities, and municipal buildings in urban, suburban, and rural environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of landscape architects, designers, and supporting professionals, promoting collaboration, professional growth, and technical excellence.

• Project Management: Oversee multiple landscape architecture projects from initial concept and planning through design development, construction documentation, and project completion.

• Landscape Architecture & Site Design: Guide the development of landscape plans, site layouts, planting plans, outdoor spaces, and other site design elements that balance aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and constructability.

• Business Development: Identify new project opportunities, support proposal preparation and interviews, participate in client presentations, and help expand MSG''s landscape architecture practice.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor''s or master''s degree in Landscape Architecture
• Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) license required
• Approximately 10+ years of relevant landscape architecture and site design experience
• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising landscape architects, designers, or multidisciplinary project teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects, coordinating project deliverables, and balancing schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Strong understanding of landscape architecture principles, site planning, planting design, grading coordination, hardscape design, and construction documentation.
• Experience working on land development, commercial, institutional, municipal, parks and recreation, public realm, or similar site design projects.
