    Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer II - Richardson, TX

    Halff is seeking a Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer to join our growing multi-disciplined Planning & Landscape Architecture team in Richardson, TX. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience working on the following project types: parks, recreation and trail planning and design; urban park, plaza, streetscape and transportation enhancements; land development; and support for large scale planning projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to help clients plan, design and implement projects.     What you will do:
     
    • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, engineers, and others to provide landscape architecture and planning projects. 
    • Work with design teams and consultants through all design stages from concept through construction.
    • Foster and promote a positive, team-oriented environment and office culture.
    • Production of CD sets including hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications, and bidding packages.
    • Construction methodologies and implementation.
    • Manage multiple projects of various scale and complexity simultaneously. 
    • Anticipate the needs of clients and projects.
    • Communicate effectively through various media.
    • Ability to produce projects within stated deadlines and budgets. 
    What you will need:
    • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university. 
    • 3+ years of experience in Landscape Architecture.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications including AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent design skills.
    • Be well organized, detail oriented, and highly motivated.
    • Experience in master planning of parks, trails, and recreation is a plus.
    • Ability to travel periodically, primarily in state, to support project needs.
