Landscape Construction Foreman

Location: Statesville, NC (28625)

Service Area: Charlotte, Winston-Salem, High Point, Greensboro, and surrounding areas

Position Overview

V24 Works is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead installation crews on residential and commercial landscape projects throughout the greater Charlotte and Triad markets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in landscape construction, irrigation installation, finish grading, and sod installation. This individual must be capable of leading crews, maintaining quality standards, communicating with management, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.

This is a leadership position with growth opportunities for the right candidate.

Compensation

• $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
• Overtime available
• Full-time position
• Year-round work available

Primary Responsibilities

Crew Leadership

• Lead and supervise landscape installation crews
• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity
• Train and mentor crew members
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule
• Maintain high-quality workmanship standards

Landscape Installation

• Install irrigation systems
• Perform finish grading and site preparation
• Install sod and landscape materials
• Read and interpret site plans when needed
• Coordinate equipment and material needs

Safety & Compliance

• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Ensure crews follow company safety procedures
• Report incidents and property damage immediately
• Maintain clean and organized job sites

Communication

• Communicate daily progress with management
• Coordinate with builders, project managers, and clients when necessary
• Report labor, equipment, and material needs

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 3 years of landscape construction experience
• Experience leading crews
• Experience with irrigation installation
• Experience with finish grading
• Experience with sod installation
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Reliable transportation

Preferred

• Driver's License
• Basic English communication skills
• Equipment operation experience
• Experience working in residential developments and tract-home communities

Schedule

Typical schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• Start time: 7:00 AM
• Average 50–60 hours per week
• Some Saturdays required
• Overtime opportunities available
