As a Landscape Installer, you'll work alongside a skilled crew transforming outdoor spaces, installing beautiful landscapes and hardscapes for residential clients across the Kansas City area. If you like working with your hands, being outdoors, and seeing real results from a hard day's work, this is the role for you.

No experience? No problem. We'll teach you the trade through our structured training program and give you a clear path to grow with us.

What You'll Do

• Install landscapes and hardscapes, including plantings, patios, walls, and other outdoor features, for residential clients
• Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and to a high standard of quality
• Represent Ryan Lawn & Tree professionally on every job site, delivering excellent customer experience
• Operate tools and equipment safely in a variety of weather conditions
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in landscaping, hardscaping, construction, or a related field is a plus, but not required
• A willingness to learn and take pride in your work
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• A team-player mindset, strong work ethic, and positive attitude
• Basic customer service and communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical

SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION: This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the operation of vehicles and equipment. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana), criminal background check, MVR check, and DOT physical (where applicable) before starting employment. Candidates must meet all screening requirements as a condition of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk, stand, and push/pull equipment for extended periods, including up to 3 miles per day in the field
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, year-round
