Landscape Supervisor 2 (Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces)

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Two years of experience in landscape and grounds maintenance or tree trimming to include one year of supervisory experience are required. Must possess a Driver license. Must possess a valid CDL/Class B license.

Recruitment Notes

This position is located at Beach Operations and is responsible for the supervision of 6-8 employees (Auto Equipment Operator 1, Auto Equipment Operator 2, Auto Equipment Operator 3, and Beach Maintenance workers) in maintenance services performed on 15 miles of Miami-Dade County beaches. This position is tasked with supervising and assisting when needed with services performed on the beach including removal of litter; emptying trash containers; keeping the beach groomed; blading seaweed towards water line; and crossovers trimmed and edged.
