BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor or designee, performs a wide range of gardening and landscape maintenance at assigned County Office facilities to ensure safe and appealing landscape condition; operates a variety of light or heavy power and landscape equipment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and three (3) years' experience in performing large scale landscape maintenance and pesticide application.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid Driver s License. California Department of Pesticide Regulation Qualified Applicator License preferred, within 6 months of employment, employer provided certification required. Pre-employment Lift Test. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance will be required prior to employment. Must be at least 18 years of age.
