Landscaping Install Crew Leader

Job Summary:
U S Lawns of Roanoke is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Enhancement Crew Leader. As a full-time hourly Technician/Skilled Labor/Contractor in the franchise industry, you will be responsible for leading a team of enhancement technicians and ensuring the successful completion of various enhancement projects for our clients. This individual contributor role is based in Roanoke, Virginia and offers a competitive compensation of $16 to $20 per hour, paid weekly.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of enhancement technicians in completing various projects, including garden bed maintenance, lawn aerations, mulching, and irrigation repairs
- Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members
- Train and coach team members to ensure quality work and adherence to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations for each project
- Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary equipment, tools, and supplies for enhancement projects
- Complete required documentation and reports for each project
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in landscape enhancement or related field
- Prior experience leading a team preferred
- Strong understanding of landscaping techniques and principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of equipment and tools used in landscaping and irrigation repairs
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
