Job Summary
We are seeking a Large Market Business Developer to join a leading consulting organization focused on health, wealth, and career solutions. This role is responsible for driving new business growth within large enterprise clients and developing long-term strategic relationships with senior decision-makers.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in benefits consulting, HR consulting, or large-market sales and a proven track record of winning high-value enterprise accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and prospect a portfolio of 40–50 enterprise accounts (5,000+ employees or $2B+ revenue)
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for large, complex clients
Drive new business acquisition and close high-value accounts
Build relationships with C-suite and senior executives
Lead full sales cycle including prospecting, negotiations, and contract execution
Prepare compelling proposals and RFP responses
Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored client solutions
Expand revenue within existing and new enterprise accounts
Required Experience
10+ years of successful sales experience in benefits consulting or related field
Strong track record of closing large enterprise accounts
Experience managing long and complex sales cycles
Proven ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders
Ability to clearly explain sales strategy, pipeline, and deal execution
Experience meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large-market group health, retirement benefits, or HR consulting
Strong executive relationship-building skills
