Laser Punch Operator

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a second shift Laser Punch Operator in the Gahanna, Ohio, area.  This is a full time, temp to hire position.  

Required Qualifications

• Punch and Laser Operation experience; Minimum of 2 years
• Maintain and troubleshoot (preferred: Amada) punches and lasers for precision custom fabrication
• Physically able to manually offload materials; pulling, pushing, grasping metal products between 15-75 lbs. regularly

Preferred Qualifications

• Automation experience preferred, but training is available
• Punch experience preferred, but training is available
• Familiarity with nesting is desired
• Knowledgeable/experience in changing lenses and conducting routine preventive laser maintenance
• Programming/modifying downloaded programs
• Proven ability to read and interpret prints/drawings to fabricate parts
• Ability to identify metals such as cold rolled, galvaneel, stainless, aluminum, etc.
• High attention to detail and safety

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal laser training preferred but not required; on-the-job experience considered
• Familiarity with ISO procedures/quality standards is beneficial

Physical Requirements

• Independence is necessary, as is the ability to work as part of a team
• Standing, sitting, reaching, bending, stretching, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Pushing, pulling, and fine tactical skills necessary
