Laundry Attendant

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Akron Canton Airport is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable stay by providing freshly laundered linens, towels, and guest room amenities.

What You Will Do

• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment.
• Wash, dry, fold, sort, and organize hotel linens and terry products.
• Maintain adequate inventory of clean linens for guest rooms and public areas.
• Inspect linens for quality and remove damaged items from circulation.
• Follow all laundry procedures, safety standards, and chemical handling guidelines.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and efficient.
• Assist Housekeeping with linen distribution and storage as needed.
• Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and maintain productivity standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, and lift to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
