Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Laundry Operations: Perform a range of laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing of guests' clothing, crew uniforms, and ship linens, following established procedures and quality standards.
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain laundry equipment, such as industrial washing machines, dryers, ironing machines, and folding machines. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies, including detergents, fabric softeners, and other necessary items. Assist in inventory stocktaking and replenishment.
Quality Control: Inspect laundered items to ensure cleanliness, proper folding, ironing, and presentation. Address any stains or damages and report them for appropriate action.

Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience as a Laundry Operative, preferably in a hotel, resort, or cruise ship setting, is beneficial but not mandatory. On-the-job training may be provided.
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy laundry bags and standing for extended periods. Stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.
