Law Clerk I - Washington, DC (Remote)

Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction of a Supervisory Paralegal or a Project Supervisor
• Perform complex legal research for trial staff
• Assist in preparing draft legal documents and reviewing documents for relevance and privilege
• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation

Required Skills:

• Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and resources
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
• Familiarity with computer applications, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging
• Knowledge of Client tools and eDiscovery procedures and resources

Preferred Skills:

• Heavy emphasis on Relativity review and searching/QC

Education:

• JD required
