Lawn Care Technician

Green View is a family-owned landscaping company in Central Illinois, running since 1955. We're hiring a Lawn Care Technician to keep client lawns healthy across the Peoria market - applying treatments, diagnosing problems, and building trust with clients along your route.

What you'll do:

• Apply fertilizer, weed killer, and other treatments to lawns, following label and safety rules
• Inspect lawns and figure out what's wrong - pests, disease, nutrients, weather stress - and recommend fixes
• Keep accurate records of every application
• Help with bed maintenance, pruning, and planting when needed
• Help with snow removal in winter
• Work independently on your route, or as part of a crew when needed

What you need:

• At least 1 year in turf care, lawn maintenance, or similar work
• IL Pesticide Applicators License (or willing to get one - we'll help)
• Valid IL driver's license, clean record
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs and work outside in all weather
• Reliable, organized, detail-oriented
• Comfortable talking with clients - you'll interact with them regularly
