Lawn Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' lawns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a strong understanding of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and groundskeeping. As a Lawn Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all lawn and landscape areas are well-kept, enhancing the overall appearance of properties.

This is a new, quickly growing company that is investing heavily in marketing to build out recurring annual Lawn Maintenance routes. You will be responsible for operating company equipment and vehicles to service your assigned route / territory solo. This is a part time position to start, with increasing hours as we acquire more customers. The goal is to optimize a route and assign you up to 48 accounts that you will be responsible for maintaining weekly between Mar-Sep and bi-weekly between Oct-Feb. This is a perfect role for those that may have operated a small lawn business in the past or for those that may have considered starting a lawn business. This is a W2 position offering year-round hours and income.

This position offers:

• 2 weeks of paid training at $15/hr.
• Upon completion of training, you will earn $20/hr for the following 90 days.
• Upon completion of the 90 day period, you will begin making $25/hr
• Once route is optimized and at capacity, you can earn a base salary of $50,000/year with bonus and commission potential.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn maintenance services including mowing, edging, blowing, hedging, weed pulling
• Follow company provided standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service for every client
• Maintain a friendly and positive attitude and have the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and clients
• Maintain landscape areas by planting flowers, shrubs, and installing mulch or pebbles to flower beds
• Utilize power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain and care for company vehicles and property
• Other responsibilities and duties as needed

• Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with groundskeeping practices and techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of operating power tools and stand-on mowers safely and effectively is essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Must be comfortable driving a company vehicle and towing an enclosed trailer
