LBS1 Elementary Resource Room Teacher

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to find a passionate Special Education Teacher for the current school year. This full-time position is situated in an elementary resource room setting, working specifically with students in the 3rd through 5th grades.

Interviews are being arranged proactively as the district prepares to fill this opening.

Targeted Intervention: Deliver individualized and small-group instruction in a resource room environment, focusing directly on goals outlined in student IEPs.

Curriculum Adaptation: Modify general education materials and implement creative, accessible teaching strategies to accommodate distinct learning styles.

Progress Tracking: Utilize student data and performance metrics to evaluate growth, refine instructional methods, and keep precise educational records.

Team Collaboration: Partner closely with general education teachers, therapists, administrators, and families to foster a unified, supportive network for every child.

IEP Management: Actively contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and maintain transparent communication regarding student development.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.

Licensure: A valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education endorsement (LBS1) covering grades 3–5.

Core Skills: Strong classroom management, exceptional communication skills, organizational talent, and a highly collaborative mindset.

Experience: Prior experience working within a school-based special education program is highly preferred.
