Job Description: Lead Architect Versa SD-WAN Platform Certification & Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Lead Architect to lead the engineering, testing, and certification of the Versa SD-WAN platform in a large-scale service provider environment. The candidate will be responsible for platform architecture, cloud networking, release validation, lab strategy, defect management, and production readiness.

• Lead Versa SD-WAN platform certification and release validation.

• Define testing strategies, lab architecture, test scope, and release acceptance criteria.

• Provide technical leadership for platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and CPE certification.

• Review architecture and components, including Versa Director, Controller, Analytics, Concerto/Arbiter, and FlexVNF.

• Validate upgrades, migrations, rollback, high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery.

• Coordinate with Versa Product Engineering, TAC, and customer engineering teams.

• Review test results, defects, risks, and mitigation plans.

• Guide engineers in lab setup, test automation, and certification activities.

• Provide technical signoff for production readiness and deployment recommendations.

• 12+ years of experience in network engineering, architecture, or platform engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Versa SD-WAN.

• Strong knowledge of Versa Director, Controller, Analytics, Concerto/Arbiter, and FlexVNF.

• Expertise in SD-WAN architecture, segmentation, multi-tenancy, security, and service chaining.

• Experience with SD-WAN upgrades, migrations, and platform lifecycle management.

• Hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP networking and cloud-hosted SD-WAN platforms.

• Strong understanding of virtual networking, compute, storage, and security architectures.

• Experience with Linux/Ubuntu administration.

• Strong networking knowledge, including routing, switching, WAN technologies, and network security.

• Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, IPSec VPNs, QoS, traffic engineering, and application-aware routing.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical leadership skills and experience managing engineering, lab, and certification teams in a service provider environment.
