Description

Job Title: Lead Automation/DevOps Technical Coach

Must-Haves — Technical Coach, Test Automation & Quality Engineering
1. Strong Test Automation Background

10+ years in software engineering, test automation, quality engineering, or engineering leadership
Hands-on experience building and scaling automation frameworks
Experience with:
- Selenium
- Playwright or Cypress
- API automation (REST Assured, Postman/Newman)
- JUnit/TestNG/NUnit/xUnit
- Cucumber or SpecFlow

2. Quality Engineering Expertise

Strong knowledge of:
- TDD
- BDD
- Shift-left testing
- Continuous testing
- Automation strategy
Experience improving:
- Test coverage
- Release confidence
- Software quality
- Defect reduction

3. CI/CD Automation Experience

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on with tools such as:
- Jenkins
- GitHub Actions
- GitLab CI/CD
- Azure DevOps

4. Enterprise Automation Leadership

Experience leading automation adoption across multiple teams
Ability to define:
- Automation standards
- Framework guidelines
- Testing strategies
- Quality metrics

5. Coaching & Communication Skills

Experience coaching:
- QA engineers
- Developers
- Engineering teams
- Technical leaders
Able to deliver training, workshops, and best practices
Strong communication with both technical and business stakeholders

6. Quality Tools & Practices

Experience with:
- SonarQube or similar code quality tools
- Test reporting/analytics
- Automation governance

Ideal Candidate Profile
A hands-on Quality Engineering leader who can:

Build automation frameworks
Guide teams on modern testing practices
Integrate testing into CI/CD
Coach engineers and leaders
