    Job Description

    Calibration & Instrumentation Staff

    Serve as the Lead Metrology representative for Plant 1 at the Rockville site, overseeing calibration, instrumentation, and metrology activities to support manufacturing operations. Supervise calibration technicians in their day-to-day activities, ensuring timely execution of calibration, preventive maintenance, and manufacturing support tasks. Responsible for developing and managing preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, maintaining calibration management software systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements. Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support to the Metrology team, establish and maintain the site's calibration standards program, and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and traceability of measurement systems and instrumentation across the facility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the Lead Metrology resource for Plant 1 operations at the Rockville site.

    • Supervise and mentor calibration technicians, providing daily direction and support.

    • Develop, maintain, and optimize calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.

    • Manage and maintain calibration-related software systems and databases.

    • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for instrumentation and calibration issues.

    • Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance with the site's calibration standards program.

    • Support manufacturing operations by ensuring critical instruments and equipment remain compliant and operational.

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to metrology processes, calibration programs, and system reliability.

    • Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, regulatory, safety, and company quality standards.

    Education:

    Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

    The anticipated hourly rate for this position in Maryland is $26.77 - $49.24 plus shift differential and annual bonus, when eligible. The final hourly rate offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc.
