Job Summary

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature as well as assists the physician during all procedures. Assists with oversight of other technologist/technicians performance and ensures that all equipment is in proper working condition and supplies are available for all procedures. In addition, guides training of Cardiovascular Technicians and assists with training of other Cath Lab personnel. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Technology or Electrophysiology Technology 
program or equivalent education. 
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of interventional Electrophysiology or Cath Lab experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT)
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or 
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): 
 Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA 
Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
 AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
