Nesco Resource is partnering with one of Long Island's most established manufacturers, and business is booming! Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Lead CNC Machinist / CNC Supervisor to join their team.

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist who knows your way around mills and lathes and enjoys helping others succeed? This is your opportunity to combine your hands-on machining expertise with leadership responsibilities!

You'll have the chance to lead and mentor CNC operators, oversee machining operations, troubleshoot production challenges, and help maintain the high-quality standards that keep manufacturing moving.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes.

• Lead, train, and mentor CNC operators on machine setups, safety, and production best practices.

• Perform machine setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments.

• Make basic CNC program edits as needed.

• Perform milling, turning, drilling, and tapping operations.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measuring instruments.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and production standards.

• Perform basic machine maintenance and communicate equipment concerns to leadership.

• Help keep production running efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• 10+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Previous experience as a Lead Machinist or CNC Supervisor.

• Strong hands-on experience with CNC mills and lathes.

• Experience with Mazak, OKK, Niigata, and/or Puma machines.

• Ability to program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment.

• Strong blueprint reading, math, and precision measurement skills.

• Experience using calipers and other inspection instruments.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and Microsoft Office.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed.

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.

PAY, BENEFITS & PERKS:

$32–$38/hour based on experience!
