$114.70 - $183.50

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
License/Registration/Certification Required:
Active RN, and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP or other APRN license(s) in state(s) of practice, AND
Active national board certification as CRNA by nationally certifying board (NBCRNA).
Active DEA registration prior to hire
If Illinois practice: active Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire
Active ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical site/practice and/or role prior to or within 6 months of hire
Education Required: Master's Degree in Nursing
Experience Required: No experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Demonstrated high level of clinical proficiency, and excellent decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective member of a health care team.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving technology and proficiency with the electronic medical record.
Excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with and establish/build relationships with others.
Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Must have functional vision and hearing.
Must be able to:
Will be required to use foot pedals on carts or machines.
Will be exposed to the following hazards on a continuous basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, radiation, blood and body fluids.
Will be required to wear gloves, goggles and gowns on an as-needed basis.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently during work shift.
Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

The Advanced Practice Professional (APP) Lead is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with demonstrated leadership skills and clinical excellence as an APP. This individual serves as a local partner for physician and operational leaders. The APP Lead is a local champion that supports bidirectional communication between clinicians and operational leaders and participates in activities to advance performance and strategic goals of the Medical Group and Advocate Health. The APP lead also serves as a role model to frontline clinicians by demonstrating Advocate Health's Leadership Behaviors and cultivating a culture as the Best Place to Care. This position requires a minimum of 10% (8 hours per pay period) of time dedicated to lead responsibilities.
