POSITION: Lead Custodian

STARTING DATE: As soon as possible

SALARY: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

WORK YEAR: Full Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The custodian will maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in order to comply with all program standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months custodial experience preferred.
• Valid driver''s license and able to be insured for vehicle operation under the current Insurance Plan preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds repeatedly for periods of at least 30 minutes, several times a day and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend and twist throughout a work day.
• Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs multiple times a day while carrying heavy objects.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions plus count and sort items consistently and accurately.
• Ability to operate janitorial equipment.
• Willingness/ability to work as a team member and assist with other building needs such as, but not limited to snow removal and cleaning parking lot.
• Good organizational skills.
• History of good job attendance.
• Must pass criminal background checks and be free from communicable disease.
