Job Description: Data Analyst
Role Summary
We are looking for a
Data Analyst
with strong analytical, SQL, reporting, and data visualization skills. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying trends and insights, developing dashboards, and supporting business teams with data driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Write complex
SQL queries
for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using
Power BI
or
Tableau .
Perform data profiling, reconciliation, trend analysis, and root cause analysis.
Translate business requirements into meaningful analytical solutions and KPIs.
Build data models and reusable datasets for reporting and analysis.
Perform ad hoc analysis to support business and operational decisions.
Identify data quality issues and work with engineering/business teams to resolve them.
Automate recurring reports and analytical processes where possible.
Present analytical findings and actionable insights to business stakeholders.
Maintain documentation for reports, KPIs, data definitions, and analytical processes.
Required Skills
Strong hands on experience with
SQL .
Experience with
Power BI, Tableau , or similar visualization tools.
Good understanding of
data modeling, ETL/ELT, data validation, and reconciliation .
Strong working knowledge of
Excel , including PivotTables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis.
Experience working with relational databases and large datasets.
Knowledge of
Python/Pandas
for data analysis and automation is preferred.
Understanding of statistical concepts, KPIs, trends, and business metrics.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders and converting requirements into analytical solutions.
