Market & Competitive Insights, Sales Enablement

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding market dynamics, influencing business strategy, and helping leaders across the organization make better, faster, and more informed decisions.

Reporting to Executive Director and an integral part of Caremark's Sales Enablement organization, this role sits at the intersection of market strategy, competitive intelligence, sales enablement, and executive decision-making.

This is much more than a traditional competitive intelligence role. We're building a capability designed to anticipate where the market is going, translate external signals into actionable insight, and bring that intelligence to decision-makers across the enterprise.

The Director will have significant visibility across CVS Health, partnering with senior leaders to understand emerging market dynamics, competitive shifts and strategic implications, and will help us turn intelligence into action. This role will make the most of available technology by reimagining market intelligence work alongside AI: how we collect signals, identify patterns, synthesize information and deliver the right insights to leaders at the right moment.

The Director will partner closely with leaders across Sales, Product, Pricing, Marketing, Government Affairs, and Strategy to rapidly translate complex information into actionable insights and influence go-to-market decisions, product direction, competitive positioning, and client engagement strategies.

This individual will bring:

• Enterprise Foresight: Identify emerging market dynamics, competitor moves, customer trends, regulatory developments, business-model shifts, and other signals, and be able to translate them into implications for our business.
• Executive Intelligence: Create concise, decision-useful intelligence for senior leaders, with visibility and engagement extending across the enterprise and through levels of leadership.
• Activation: Passionate about not letting intelligence die in a PowerPoint deck. Build mechanisms to distribute and activate insights across Sales, Account Management, Product, Strategy, Marketing, Clinical, DDAT and other functions so that intelligence actually changes decisions and behavior.
• AI Transformation: Reimagine how intelligence is collected, synthesized, connected and disseminated using AI, moving from periodic manual research toward a more continuous intelligence sensing capability.

We are looking for someone who meets the following:

• Bachelor's degree in business, strategy, quantitative discipline, or related field required, Master's Degree preferred.
• 10+ years of healthcare experience, with exposure to pharmacy benefits, payers, consultants, providers, sales, product, or strategy preferred.
• Knowledge of the PBM and broader healthcare ecosystem.
• Has natural curiosity about competitor strategies, market dynamics, regulatory change, and emerging trends.
• Can connect disparate pieces of information and identify meaningful patterns, implications, and opportunities.
• Demonstrates exceptional relationship-building and influence skills across organizational boundaries.
• Has strong executive presence and can distill complex topics into clear, concise, business-relevant insights.
• Enjoys becoming the "go-to" resource for market intelligence and strategic perspective.
• Is equally comfortable speaking with frontline sales teams, senior executives, and cross-functional business leaders.
• Analytical and digital fluency, including the ability to use Microsoft 365, AI tools, Salesforce, visualization, pptx and market data platforms to accelerate insight development.
• Practitioner of AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity, streamline research workflows, and support insight generation.
• Skilled at rapidly translating information into multiple formats (primarily PowerPoint) that meet the needs of different audiences-from detailed analyses and battlecards to executive summaries, presentations, and visual storytelling.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
