Lead Dispensary Associate

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Dispensary Associate to join our team in Shrewsbury, MA. As a pivotal member of our dispensary, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with all regulations. If you have a deep understanding of cannabis products and a knack for leading a team, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of dispensary associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with product selection and answering inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding the sale and distribution of cannabis products.
• Manage inventory levels, including receiving and stocking products, while maintaining accurate records.
• Conduct training sessions for new employees on product knowledge, customer service techniques, and compliance protocols.
• Assist in the development and implementation of dispensary policies and procedures.
• Monitor sales performance and provide feedback to improve team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed about industry trends and product knowledge to educate both staff and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in retail or cannabis industry preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating a team.
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and their effects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and best practices in the cannabis industry.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess any required state licenses or certifications.
