
The Lead Electrical Engineer serves as the primary technical resource and electrical discipline lead for electrical systems associated with the company''s projects and equipment offerings. The position is responsible for managing outsourced electrical engineering activities, supporting procurement of electrical equipment and material, and serving as the technical interface between customers, architect-engineers (A/E), engineering service providers, equipment suppliers, Supply Chain Management, and internal stakeholders.
The individual serves as the organization''s electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical leadership, guidance, and oversight for the electrical scope of work throughout the project lifecycle.
As the electrical discipline lead, the individual is responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving execution of the electrical scope from proposal development through project closeout. This includes leadership of subcontract engineering activities, management of supplier interfaces, resolution of technical issues, coordination of project stakeholders, and ensuring electrical deliverables support overall project cost, schedule, quality, and performance objectives.
The role also provides support for instrumentation and controls engineering activities as workload permits.
