Bright Point Electric, LLC is now hiring a full-time LeadElectrician to join our team!

We're looking for a Lead Electrician to run jobs from start to finish. You'll lead a crew of 1–3 electricians and apprentices, turn plans into a clear daily game plan, and be the main point of contact for the customer on site.

This role is for someone who knows the trade and takes ownership: you keep the job moving, keep the office in the loop, and leave customers confident in the work.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday (No mandatory weekends)
• 8AM – 4PM with paid lunch break
• Average of 40 hours/week

What you’ll need:

• 5 years experience preferred
• Diagnostic abilities and technical skills
• Able to read and work from electrical plans, drawings, and specs
• Clear, professional communication with customers, the office, and crew
• Personal vehicle with good driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

As a Lead Electrician, you will:

• Run day-to-day work on residential and commercial jobs with a crew of 1–3 electricians and apprentices
• Assign tasks, set daily priorities, and keep the job on schedule.
• Train and mentor apprentices on safe, code-compliant installation practices
• Ensure job site safety, PPE, and a clean, organized work area
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, panel schedules, wiring diagrams and specs
• Install service, distribution, branch circuits, lighting, and controls to NEC and local code
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems in the field, escalating design or scope issues early
• Coordinate inspections with the office and make sure work passes
• Communicate with the office and support staff about the job needs ahead of time: material orders, tools, extra labor, and schedule changes
• Flag change orders, extra work, or delays before they become problems
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for customers, GCs, and other trades
• Walk customers through the scope, schedule, and any changes in plain language
• Represent the company professionally and leave every job site clean
