As a Lead Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanic, you will be joining a leading HVAC service provider. You will be responsible for installing and replacing HVAC equipment in light commercial, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality installations while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
Job Description:
- Install, replace, and retrofit light commercial, commercial, and industrial HVAC systems, ensuring adherence to company and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform installations of HVAC equipment, including ductwork, air handlers, condensers, and controls, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to complete installation projects on time and to customer satisfaction.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and jobsite cleanliness, ensuring compliance with safety standards and best practices.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot issues during installation, providing solutions to maintain system integrity and functionality.
- Provide professional and courteous communication with clients, ensuring customer needs are met with quality workmanship.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC change outs
- EPA certification required
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Valid NC Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding conditions
