Job Description

Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Lead Java Developer for their AtlantaGA Johns Creek GAHybrid location.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in Java application development, with proven experience leading development teams and driving technical direction on enterprise-scale applications.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture, with the ability to define architecture standards, conduct design/code reviews, and guide the team on best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Advanced proficiency in Java with the ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed systems and resolve critical production issues.
Experienced in leading teams within an Agile delivery model - owning sprint planning, technical estimation, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery aligned with business priorities.
Proven ability to mentor junior/mid-level developers, collaborate with architects and product stakeholders, and act as the primary technical point of contact for the team.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is desirable. Hands-on GenAI/AI-assisted development experience is a plus.
