Property Management Company seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks for residential apartments and condominiums. Normal working hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.


Responsibilities:


  • Complete projects and repair orders in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain appearance of properties.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance.
  • Painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, cleaning, and grounds work.
  • Be able to move appliances and shovel snow.
  • Assist in make ready apartment tasks.
  • Assist other Maintenance Technicians.
  • Mentor other Maintenance Technicians.
  • Must be available to work in an "On-Call Rotation" and be available for after hours emergency maintenance calls every 3 to 4 weeks.
  • Must be available during snow storms for after hours snow removal.
Qualifications:


  • Must maintain a professional and courteous manner.
  • Must own your own hand tools.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to travel between job sites throughout the day using your own vehicle, primarily in the vicinity of Kirkwood. 
    • Mileage Reimbursement for miles driven throughout the workday.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Must be able to climb up to a 40 foot ladder and be comfortable with working on roofs and gutters.
  • Must be able to trouble shoot general maintenance issues and come up with solutions.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to shovel snow.
  • Must be comfortable working indoors as well as outdoors.
  • HVAC Certification is a plus but not required.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in maintenance or trade fields.
