Lead Maintenance Technician

Summary

This is non-professional work providing maintenance of the property of the agency: Epworth grounds and other Epworth properties. The employee is responsible for work involving grounds upkeep, renovating and repairing buildings and their contents, the fleet, and maintenance equipment. The lead maintenance worker is supervised by the maintenance supervisor through observation and reports.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Back up to the maintenance supervisor on heating and cooling repairs.

• (Certificates required)

• Painting of buildings.

• Clear walks, porches, and parking areas of snow and debris.

• Care for lawns and shrubs on a regular basis.

• Assist in the renovation and repair of buildings.

• Assist in the maintenance of the fleet.

• Repair and service household appliances.

• Assist in moving furniture, mailings, and donated materials.
