    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    As our Lead Therapist, you will provide a continuum of services, delivering care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and physically-related disorders through an interdisciplinary approach, while also mentoring staff and overseeing daily operations of the unit or clinic.

    Every day you will utilize the rehabilitation process to promote and restore optimal patient health through mobility training, strengthening, specialized manual therapy, and re-education. You will also manage staffing, patient scheduling, regulatory compliance, staff professional development, and physician relations, all while upholding our organizational mission and core values.

    To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical expertise in therapy services, proven leadership and mentoring abilities, exceptional organizational and operational management skills, and a steadfast commitment to patient well-being, staff development, and regulatory compliance within a therapeutic setting. The Lead Therapist serves in a mentoring capacity for the therapy staff in their designated work area, e.g., an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit or outpatient satellite clinic.

    • Responsible for functions such as daily staffing, daily scheduling of patients, documentation, monitoring and auditing, staff professional development as it pertains to the unit or clinic, as well as staff coaching.

    • Coordinates the work of other personnel by training, allocating, and/or monitoring work.

    • Responsible to achieve service line standards related to quality care/outcomes, and patient/family and associate satisfaction.

    • Evaluates assigned patients and develops treatment plans including specific goals and activities, reassessing and modifying plans as necessary based on patient's current level of function and makes appropriate disposition recommendations.

    • Performs a variety of best practice and evidencebased therapeutic interventions to address the unique rehabilitation needs of each patient.

    • Selects and implements therapy activities per plan of care to ensure that patient, family, and therapy goals are met.

    We are offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus, in addition to up to $8,000 in relocation assistance, to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

    Job Requirements

    Required

    • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

    • Two (2) years of applicable work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit

    • Current state of employment licensure in physical therapy OR current state of employment licensure in occupational therapy and Registered Occupational Therapist OR current state of employment licensure in speech language pathology and Certification of Clinical Competence from the

    • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

    • BLS through American Heart Association

    Preferred

    • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy

    • Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy

    • Previous leadership experience

    • Prior use of electronic medical records
