About the Role:
Henderson Christian Academy in Henderson, NV is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the foundation of early childhood education in a faith-based environment where every child is valued and celebrated.



Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate Pre-K curriculum and daily lesson plans
• Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment aligned with Christian values
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities
• Supervise and mentor classroom aides and assistant teachers
• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and developmental documentation
• Collaborate with school administration and staff to support school-wide goals and events

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a lead teacher role in a Pre-K or early childhood setting
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood learning standards
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Alignment with Christian faith and values; commitment to faith-based education
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
