Lead Preschool Teacher

Location: The Learning Experience- Tuckahoe, NYPay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsSchedule: Full-Time, Monday-FridayClassroom: Preschool 3sAbout the OpportunityLove working with preschoolers and helping them build confidence, independence, and friendships?The Learning Experience- Tuckahoe is hiring three Preschool Lead Teachers for our 3-year-old classrooms!We're looking for caring, creative educators who enjoy bringing learning to life through hands-on activities, building meaningful relationships with families, and creating classrooms where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.What You'll Do- Lead daily classroom activities and routines for children ages 3-4- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum- Support early literacy, math, language, and social-emotional development- Create engaging activities through art, music, movement, and purposeful play- Encourage independence, problem-solving, and positive friendships- Maintain consistent routines and use positive behavior guidance- Observe developmental milestones and maintain classroom documentation- Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom- Follow applicable New York childcare licensing requirementsQualifications- Bachelor's or associate degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA, or a high school diploma with at least 5 years of relevant professional childcare experience- Must meet applicable New York childcare licensing qualifications for the assigned Lead Teacher role- Previous preschool classroom experience preferred- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills- Patient, dependable, nurturing, and enthusiastic about early childhood educationWhat We Offer- $20.00-$23.00 per hour- Full-time Monday-Friday schedule- Professional development and training opportunities- Employee childcare discount- Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching environment- Opportunities for continued professional growthApply TodayJoin The Learning Experience- Tuckahoe and help preschoolers build the confidence and foundational skills they need to thrive!The Learning Experience is an equal opportunity employer.
