Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team! Who will lead a class of students throughout the school year, assess their current academic level, and design instruction to meet their collective and individual needs. Someone who is passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, who love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment. 

Responsibilities

• Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum
• Teach beginning reading and math skills
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel
• Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications

•  DCF 45- Hours Training and a [CDA] Child Development Associate
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Problem-solving and team working
