Job Description

Lead Project Scheduler - Dallas Data Center

With multiple offices and a team of over 500 strong across the U.S., this leading ENR-ranked contractor has grown steadily since 2000 - now generating more than $5 billion in annual revenue. Known for its commitment to employee satisfaction and providing top-tier benefits, it's a company where people build long-term careers. The Dallas office is already one of the standout performers with lots of room to grow with their mission critical and large commercial footprint. This isn't a "schedule maintenance" role. The team is looking for a Lead Project Scheduler - Dallas Data Center candidate who understand construction, can build a schedule from the ground up, and have the credibility to collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, Owners, and trade partners. Whether you're a scheduler looking to lead major projects or a construction professional wanting to move deeper into project controls, this is a rare chance to join a contractor that has consistently invested in both its people and its scheduling function.

The Lead Project Scheduler - Dallas Data Center will report directly to the Regional Project Controls Director and play a lead role in developing, managing, and driving project schedules from preconstruction through closeout. This position is ideal for someone who can balance technical scheduling expertise with real-world construction knowledge.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC)
  • Lead schedule development efforts alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, Owners, and subcontractors
  • Build schedules from drawings, specifications, and construction sequencing requirements, not simply from subcontractor input
  • Analyze critical path activities, identify schedule risks, and recommend recovery strategies
  • Facilitate schedule update meetings and communicate progress to project stakeholders
  • Produce weekly and monthly schedule reports, narratives, look-ahead schedules, and milestone updates
  • Support preconstruction teams with proposal schedules, logistics planning, and baseline schedule development

A successful Lead Project Scheduler - Dallas Data Center should have:

  • 5+ years of construction scheduling experience, preferably in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, or data center environments
  • Strong proficiency with Primavera P6; Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) experience highly desirable
  • Experience developing and maintaining detailed CPM (Critical Path Method) schedules
  • Working knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and field operations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge assumptions and drive schedule accountability
  • Builder's mindset with the ability to connect schedule logic to actual field execution
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent scheduling experience preferred

What's on offer for the right Lead Project Scheduler:

  • Salary of $130,000 to $170,000.
  • Truck allowance and gas card.
  • Healthcare covered 100% for the employee.
  • Annual bonus of 20% or more.
  • 401(k) matching of 10% of base salary annually
  • 3 Weeks PTO
  • Clear advancement path into Project Controls leadership positions
  • Curious if this could be the right next step? Apply today. Qualified candidates will receive a response within 48 hours.
