This is your chance to join our team - help us to design the transportation and infrastructure that improves the world!We are currently seeking a senior professional to lead the firm's strategic initiatives within the Northeast TN and Southwest Virginia market. This position will play a vital role in expanding our presence in the region, hiring, and mentoring staff, and helping guide the overall direction of our growth and expansion as well as supporting growth throughout the company. The successful candidate must be energetic and have the ability to mentor and lead teams throughout WRA's market areas. In addition, they must have a demonstrated ability to pursue and manage transportation projects within the Northeast TN and Southwest Virginia region including VDOT, TDOT, and local municipalities, counties, and regional planning organizations.This is a unique opportunity to help establish and grow a market for a leading multi-disciplined A&E firm. The successful candidate should possess strong business development skills while working collaboratively with multi-disciplined teams throughout the company. Leadership responsibilities include operating with integrity and sound business principles, providing practice vision, business planning and strategy, establishing goals, building and maintaining positive client relationships, open communication with partners and team, along with growing and directing the transportation practice in Virginia.
