Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Lead Service Electrician to join our team! The ideal candidate is a skilled electrician with strong leadership and people skills who takes pride in providing exceptional service to our customers.


As a Lead Service Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical systems while also serving as a leader and resource for other technicians and apprentices. This position requires someone who is confident communicating with customers, comfortable using technology, and capable of accurately documenting each service appointment in our CRM.


The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, professional presence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.


Responsibilities


Diagnose, install, repair, and maintain electrical systems


Follow all safety rules, regulations, and company procedures


Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment


Use blueprints, sketches, building plans, and diagnostic tools to determine electrical requirements and materials needed


Provide accurate recommendations and bids for work orders


Clearly explain electrical issues, solutions, and options to customers


Deliver a professional and courteous customer experience on every appointment


Document service calls accurately and thoroughly in the company CRM


Enter detailed appointment notes, including diagnosis, work performed, recommendations, and customer concerns


Use tablets, smartphones, CRM software, and other technology required to complete daily responsibilities


Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, customers, suppliers, and other professionals


Train, coach, and support apprentices and less-experienced technicians


Lead by example and maintain high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and customer service


Help troubleshoot challenging service situations and provide technical guidance to other technicians


Take ownership of customer concerns and work toward appropriate solutions


Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company with integrity


Qualifications


Previous experience as an Electrician is required.


Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, installation, and repair


Previous leadership, mentoring, or Lead Technician experience preferred


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Professional appearance and courteous, customer-focused personality


Comfortable interacting with homeowners, customers, suppliers, and team members


Comfortable using technology, tablets, smartphones, and CRM software


Ability to write clear, detailed, and professional service notes


Strong organizational and time-management skills


Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements


Valid Driver’s License


Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects


Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team


Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude

English is required, Spanish is a plus
