ABOUT THE JOB:

The Lead Setup Tech - Perimeter Solutions leads and assists a field crew responsible for fencing delivery and installation and ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. This role is responsible for coaching team members, coordinating materials and equipment, troubleshooting job-site issues, and maintaining a productive and professional work environment while ensuring work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, WillScot standards, customer requirements, and applicable safety procedures.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING:

Lead Fence Delivery & Installation

• Leads the crew in the safe and efficient delivery, installation, and removal of temporary fencing and related equipment according to project specifications.

Team Leadership & Direction

• Assigns daily tasks, provides hands-on guidance, and ensures team members follow proper procedures, safety policies, PPE use, and site-specific customer or regulatory requirements.

Job Site Coordination

• Reviews site conditions, coordinates materials and equipment, and communicates with the customers to ensure successful and safe project completion.

Documentation & Paperwork

Completes daily paperwork, including FLHAs, forklift & truck inspections, work order management and other required reporting.

Equipment & Materials Management

• Maintains tools and equipment, ensures materials and tools are organized effectively in the yard and on the truck & trailer, monitors material quantities and reports required materials to management.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience installing and dismantling temporary fencing
• Prior experience leading, mentoring, and coordinating field crew

Required Skills:

• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Previous experience driving a truck and trailer
• Previous experience driving a forklift or telehandlers
• Proficient carpentry skills and use of hand and power tools
• Familiarity with constructions trades
• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Ability to maintain professional customer interactions.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools and job-site equipment

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience installing fencing or similar products
