Lead Software Developer 
Location:  Edina, MN (onsite)
Salary:  $130-165K

Our client is seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to drive key enterprise application initiatives with a strong focus on .NET development and system integration. This role combines hands-on engineering, solution architecture, and informal technical leadership within a growing manufacturing and consumer products organization.

Role Overview

The Technical Lead will design, build, and enhance internal applications and integrations that support manufacturing, supply chain, and core business operations. You’ll lead projects from concept through deployment, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality targets are met.
• Provide technical guidance to developers and partner resources, and influence architectural decisions.
• Design and develop .NET-based applications and services, plus integrations between enterprise systems (ERP, commerce, DXPs).
• Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify technical risks and dependencies early, and drive mitigation strategies and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Approximately 15+ years of software development experience with strong enterprise application and integration background.
• Hands-on expertise with C# / .NET, SQL Server, and modern front-end frameworks (React, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns.
• Experience acting as a technical lead or informal team lead, influencing architecture and guiding other engineers.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and the ability to manage multiple initiatives under tight timelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or supporting ERP/enterprise business systems.
• Background with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Sitecore OrderCloud), DXPs (Contentstack, Sitecore XM Cloud), or tools like Workato and SPS Commerce.
