Lead Software Engineer

Pega Smart Disputes Lead :We are looking for an experienced Pega Lead (Hands on) with expertise in the Pega Smart Disputes Framework and practical knowledge/interest in AI and Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities within Pega. In this role, you will design, build, and support enterprise-grade Pega applications for card dispute processing, chargebacks, and automated case management. You will play a key role in integrating AI capabilities to optimize workflow automation, enhance decision-making, and modernizing dispute workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Core Development & Architecture: Design, build, and maintain enterprise applications using Pega Platform following Guardrail compliance and best practices.

Smart Disputes Expertise: Implement and customize Pega Smart Disputes framework for credit/debit card dispute resolution, chargeback workflows, and regulatory compliance.

Workflows & Rules Configuration: Configure case types, complex workflows, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), routing rules, and business logic.

System Integration: Design and develop REST/SOAP integrations to connect Pega with core banking, payment processing, and third-party systems.

Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting: Debug complex issues, perform log analysis, and optimize application performance and database queries.

AI & Automation Integration: Identify and implement opportunities to leverage Pega AI, and GenAI capabilities (such as automated summary generation and intelligent case routing for dispute outcomes).

Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams; participate in code reviews; and mentor junior Pega developers.Lead: 7+ years of overall IT experience (with strong hands-on Pega development & smart disputes). Abiltity to lead team, customer management, requirements,code reviews, quality of deliverables etc. Pega Certification: Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) required.

Domain & Framework Knowledge: Hands-on experience with the Pega Smart Disputes framework.

Integration Expertise: Strong experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP), JSON, XML, and database integrations.

Methodology: Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices and DevOps tools.

AI & GenAI Capabilities: Familiarity with Pega GenAI features, Pega Process AI, or integrating external LLM/AI services into Pega applications.
