Lead Staff Pharmacist

This job description outlines the primary responsibilities through which employees embody our CARE values and contribute to the companys mission of outstanding service Responsibilities Coordinate efforts between data entry, floor personnel and shipping to ensure routes go out on time Manage workflow responsibilities with the Pharmacy Technician Shift Lead Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration Ensure that dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled Communicate with facilities nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members in regard to medication-related queries Supervise the preparation of any medicines Perform on-call duties when required Complete any other task assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge Qualifications Licensed pharmacist in the State of FloridaLong Term Care experience preferredPrevious experience in Hospital and Retail pharmacy or other medical fieldsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsComputer skillsFramework / ECM software knowledge a plus Benefits: Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceRetirement planPaid time offEmployee Assistance ProgramFull Time Employees are eligible for this incentive-based program Shift 11am7:30pm with adjustments necessary to cover business needs.
