Senior / Lead Superintendent – Multifamily & Military Housing

Location: Norfolk, VA / Hampton Roads & Washington, DC Area
Compensation: $120,000–$160,000+ depending on experience

We are actively seeking Senior and Lead Superintendents for multiple high-profile construction opportunities throughout the Norfolk, VA and Washington, DC markets.

Our clients have multiple projects requiring experienced field leaders, including new high-rise construction and major renovation programs spanning multiple military bases.

We are specifically interested in Superintendents with experience in:

• Multifamily construction

• Student housing

• Military housing

• High-rise residential

• Large-scale renovations

• Occupied renovations

• Federal construction

• Complex, multi-phase projects

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of day-to-day field operations

• Lead and manage subcontractors and trade partners

• Develop and maintain project schedules

• Coordinate sequencing and site logistics

• Enforce safety and quality-control standards

• Lead subcontractor and coordination meetings

• Monitor project progress and resolve field issues

• Coordinate inspections and required documentation

• Work closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and subcontractors

• Manage punch list and project closeout

• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of construction experience preferred

• Proven experience leading commercial or residential construction projects

• Multifamily, student housing, military housing, high-rise, or major renovation experience strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods

• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules

• Strong subcontractor management and leadership skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Proven ability to independently manage complex project-site operations

For an exceptional Lead Superintendent, our clients may consider a travel-based position. Depending on the assignment, company-paid housing may be provided.
