Construction Site Manager
Our client is a nationally recognized general contractor with a strong presence in the Mid-Atlantic region. Known for delivering high-quality multifamily and mixed-use developments, they are expanding their team for a major upcoming project in Northern Virginia.
Job Description
- Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to closeout
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and daily field operations
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and city officials
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports and progress tracking
- Resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns
- Conduct regular site meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Mentor and supervise assistant superintendents and field staff

The Successful Applicant
- 10+ years of experience in multifamily or commercial construction
- Proven track record managing large-scale ground-up projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, safety, and quality control
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera)
