Lead Swim Instructors and Aides

The Evelyn Kirrane Aquatics Center in Brookline is seeking several Part-time Lead Swim Instructors and Swim Instructor Aides to join our team at our beautiful Aquatics Center, boasting three pools and space for athletics, health, wellness, and camp activities for the public. The Aquatics Center features a six lane, 25 yard lap pool, a shallow water (three to four feet deep) lesson pool, and a 12 foot deep diving well with two 1-meter diving boards.

Lead Swim Instructors require a current certification in American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (preferred) and/or experience teaching progressive-level group swim lessons. Minimum age is 16 years old.

Pay: $19 hourly

Swim Instructor Aides must have prior experience in competitive swimming and working with children. A current certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training (or equivalent) is preferred. Minimum age is 15 years old.

Pay: $17 hourly

Several shifts available for all positions, weekends possible. Positions are filled on an on-going basis and applications will be accepted until filled.
